Fire Extinguisher Servicing

It is an FIA requirement that all fire extinguishers are serviced every 2 years for use in motorsport.

This will help ensure that when you need the fire extinguisher it is ready to use and perform at its optimum!

MotorSport Race Gear is the Service Agent for FireSense products in Australia either via the current Protrust Solutions, or previously SPA Design products which include FireSense, FireSense Response, FireSense Lite, FireSense Pro, Extreme & Formula.

Each fire extinguisher which is homologated by the FIA shall be serviced either by the manufacturer or their agent no more than two years after either the date of filling or the date of the last service. This servicing shall be undertaken in accordance with the procedures laid out by the manufacturer and/or the relevant standard and shall include a hydrostatic pressure test of the extinguisher body. 

Service Pricing starts from $125 for Hand Held Units to $250 for System Bottles plus freight, we can also arrange freight to collect the bottle for an extra charge.
